The article is structured under the following headings:

- CONCLUSION

On reflecting ...

Have you ever been, withreturned from a date with someone new, sat down and dissected the events of the evening to the smallest detail? Perhaps you have asked if you have a comment from may have had an unintended meaning, or perhaps misunderstood.

Have you ever worried that you misunderstood your dates body language, or - especially if the date is wrong, thought about what went wrong and how to prevent the same mistake next time?

This is perhaps an overly negative picture of a possibly beautifulEvening, but it does serve to the fact that we all take in our daily life, your time to think about and reflect on things that have happened during our time highlight.

Whether this is done consciously or unconsciously, we react all the circumstances, by thinking about it and the processing of events through memory and memory. And more often than not, create one thought decisions and these decisions create opportunities to determine future action.

So we can back from vacation, armedwith photos and stories, while reflecting and may decide there again next year, or maybe because things went wrong, opt for a better travel agent or other destination.

Or perhaps, as a parent returning from a tour of a few interested schools for your child, you must go down to open the possibilities SA you remember every school visited and remember the impact could have any. They weigh the pros and cons of each, consider each scenario from a rangePerspectives, and finally make a decision that is not overthrown.

Think of times recent and past where you stopped to reflect and think about an experience to have. "Think" here and "Remembrance" are not synonymous: if you think we remember events and details, and if we "think" they put our critical thinking faculties, with analysis and evaluation, synthesis and argument. We ask questions and try to find answers, we design and build capabilities, weto assess process, to deconstruct and the results of the ideas and strategies. From this we can decisions to be made and to articulate possible ways of implementing those decisions.

So see, in an attempt to a reasonable definition of the process of reflection, let this simple formula:

REMINDER and think about making decisions and planning + = REFLECTING

We all, in any form, think about our experiences. Reflective practice is a means ofEvidence of such thinking and reasoning. It is a record of the ways that you are thinking about and have reflected on an experience.

THE IMPORTANCE OF reflective practice

I would like to claim that the school improvements would be lower if all schools adopted reflective practice to make a daily habit.

I am not alone in my thinking:
