3 Key Ingredients for Self Improvement

Most people want change - to do better, be better to achieve more. Many do not know where to start. There are three things that must be present, take place if sustainable change is to:

Know who you are and what you believe - that's bedrock. This is no easy task. It takes time and attention to get to get to know yourself. In our world of constant communication and instant everything, this can be a challenge. You do not have to take too long - hours and hours of meditationnot sure if you are a yogi. But daily time with you is not required. Take a walk with a purpose - to a new thing about you. Or type in five minutes every morning to reflect on your strengths and, oh, yes, your weaknesses. What are your good habits and what are your bad habits? What are your likes and dislikes? Pay attention to during the day for this information. "I just love ___________, __________ I would like or I can not stand just ___________, I will never__________. This will lead to some important information about you. What are your beliefs and unbelief? I had a friend who says, "If you do not know what you stand for, you will fall for everything." Cliché, but true. The interesting and challenging part is that it is constantly changing. As you and get new information on how to increase your level of consciousness, much of the self-knowing is changing. Be aware of where you are and what you believe, on a continuous basis. Knowwhat do you think about love, family, God, money, society, politics, relationships, work - all the important areas of life.

Do you know what you want. This will change, grow and change as you, but you need to know what you want now. Have a clear idea of what it is and how your life will be like when you have it. You want a better education? more money? a love relationship? a new house? a compassionate heart? a child? more stuff? a healthy body? Happiness? Make your list. If yourMade list, ask yourself: "How can I get / achieve those things you are willing to work harder you are willing to make sacrifices for long term temporary gain they can manifest Visualization with it - bring all your senses into play games??. Press until you see, feel, hear, touch, taste, perhaps, what it will be when you are. You may find that you do not really want or are not willing to buy for them. This process is reduced to impulsive decisions that can make a lasting change that youare not happy with. It also gives you the assurance that it is worth the time, effort and money required.

Take responsibility for yourself and for your life. Nobody, absolutely nobody can do this for you. You can help if you need it, but nobody can do it except you, when it comes to meaningful and sustainable. You can copy someone else but it is not for you, really. I heard someone recently complained that his parents had no money she has to live for him. Excuse me, itwas not his parents in the responsibility. It was his responsibility as a non-disabled, make intelligent, educated adults for themselves. Employees blame the leaders for their failure. Students blame the teachers, their schedule, their parents. We have all heard people play the blame game - maybe we have played well at times. Only if you are honest with themselves and the responsibility for all phases of your life that occur in real growth.

If these three things are present, most of your self improvement will be done. You just need the finishing touches. Yehaw!
